Bleeding heart

Severity scale:

Bleeding heart plants are short stemmed herbs with heart-shaped flowers that generally come in white or pale pink colors. The flowers grow in elongated clusters. The "fruit" of the plant is actually a tiny capsule in which many seeds are found.
